2015 29.5 bhds

Good afternoon,

We purchased the 2015 29.5 BHDS last year, I see that the 2016 outdoor kitchen has a 2 burner stove. How can I get that installed for my 2015?
Any ideas?

I would think the easiest way to go IMO, is to find out the brand and model number of the stove used in the '16 model, and just add it to the current pull-out shelf.

I too have the 2015 - 29.5 BHDS and like the new stove option> BUT I have to think that would be pretty expensive to add it aftermarket.

I would rather spend the money on buying a good portable gas stove and getting some gas line connections and connect to the existing quick connect.

just my 2 cents

The stove is nothing all that fancy. There are lots of camp stoves available out there that are very similar for reasonable cost. I'd imagine it would be cheaper than buying from Jayco.

I too, have agree. I'm sure you can find a similar size stove and mount it on the existing shelf. The only things you may need to modify would be to remove the gas regulator from the new stove and add a quick disconnect fitting and a hose. Then, you can use the gas from the trailer's LP tanks.

The thing is with the factory stove, I'm not a fan of the wind shield. I've seen and used other similar stoves over the years and the shield locks to something to keep it upright. in this one, once flipped up and the sides extended there is nothing to hold it. If a stiff wind hit it it could flip it backwards. Worse still, it basically just sits on the side shields but mine must be tweaked a bit because the one side just floats above the surface swinging.

There are two runner bumper right there though so I just cut a slit in them and this at least prevents the swinging. Still seems like those side shields should have latches or something to lock it in the up position.
