2016 321rsts on order

[Camping Grandpa]

We ordered a 321rsts about 6 weeks ago and are expecting delivery at the end of April. Seems like a long wait but we're not taking our first trip until Memorial Day with the grandsons. Can't wait to get it on the road.
Anyone have comments about the unit?
We ordered with 12' fridge, second awning, slide toppers, mor ryde pin box and almond interior. We've not been able to see one up close and personal so we're a bit nervous. The other Eagle 5ers are very nice so we're hoping for no surprises in the 321.
Tips and pointers are welcome. This is our 3rd 5er an the largest yet. I'm pulling with a 14 Silverado 2500HD Duramax that did well with our former 30'er.

We have 321RLTS so I think they are same length & similar wieght,10500 dry.I towed with a 2003 GMC 2500HD with no problem so your newer truck should be plenty.I do prefer our dually now tho.
I would get an auto-level if I was ordering today.

We're picking up our new 321RSTS next Thursday, March 31! First RV, (long time tent campers) first time towing anything. Lots of firsts coming our way! In addition to our walkthrough at the dealership, we've contracted with a Certified Master Tech here in CT to go through the unit with us to double check everything before we take our 1st trip. Nothing scheduled yet, but will plan something soon. I'll be sure to post the results of our walkthrough and separate session with the tech guy. Should give you a good idea of what to expect.

I think you are going to love the floor plan. I have the TT version and I love every inch of it. The island really gives you more kitchen storage and counter top space.

When we bought our 351 RLTS, your floor plan was 2nd on the list. We bought this one because it was in stock and have no regrets but that is a nice one also. Either would have fit our needs nicely.

We have the 351 RSTS. I believe it's basically the same plan only slightly larger. We love the floor plan and in particular the outdoor kitchen. It's comfortable and the dw likes the island kitchen.

I think you'll be very happy with your choice. We travelled about 200 miles to a dealer that had both the 321RSTS and 323LKTS in stock and were back and forth between the two several times before settling on the 323LKTS. We would have been happy in either one though.

I'll be curious to hear how your walk thru goes. Ours won't be here until late April and I'm compiling a list of things to check. This will be our first NEW 5er. Let me know please what all you find.

I just finished my PDI a couple of weeks ago. They will try to rush you through it. Do not let them. It took me and my girlfriend 6 hours to complete the checklist provided on this website. We came up with three pages of items that needed to be addressed. Do not sign or pay until you have completed the checklist. Bring work clothes, a flashlight, and a few hand tools like screw drivers and wrenches. Make sure you warn the dealer that you will be very thorough and that one hour will not be sufficient time to complete the PDI. Do not let them charge you for extra time or agree to it. Be prepared to leave the unit an extra day so your punch list can be entered onto their RO and documented. Some things will have to wait for parts. Only after everything is documented and items have been fixed, should you agree to sign anything or pay. Do not get emotional or attached to the rig. There will be plenty of time later to oooo and aaaa over your new purchase. This is not the time to let things slide and do not be bullied by the service manager or the tech.

Glad to hear it. Anxious to pair them up and hit the road. Love my truck and don't like pushing weight limits. Last 5er was 30' and grossed around 10k. Truck hardly noticed it. Thanks!
