2016 Designer

I'm trying to do some homework on the new Designer brand from Jayco. Is there anyone on this forum who has one of these and can comment on it? Thanks!

If you look around, you will see a lot of older Designers around. Jayco over the years built a bunch of them! But, for some reason, stopped building them 3 or 4 years ago. However, I think less than 2 years ago, they decided to start building them, again.

They are Jayco's most luxurious brand. I believe they will do great!

I think it's a little early since actual production just started. It's even hard to find a dealer with one on their lot.

My Designer is a 2010 and was the last year. The Pinnacle was the replacement at that time. I didn't like any of the Pinnacle floor plans I saw and my dealer had a 2010 Designer on his lot that I did like and the Designer was "loaded" with options that were extra cost on the new Pinnacle. The rest is history and I'm in it full time for 5 1/2 years and counting.

We looked at a new 16 Designer 2 weeks ago. Liked what we saw very much, a lot of good features (not perfect) but better than most others, and the 2 year warranty is the best around. We ordered a new 37RS.

So are they building both designer and pinnacle? Which one becomes the high end model?

The Designer is listing in the area of 130 grand. It's above the pinnacle. Comes standard with full body paint though
That's a little too "high end" for me!

The Designer is somewhat a re-birth of the Travel Supreme FW. JAYCO bought those rights, molds and assets around 2008. The ENTEGRA was the rebirth of the TS MH and now the DESIGNER in towables. Definitely the top end.
