2016 FBTS front a/c dripping

Anyone on here have problems with the front bedroom a/c dripping water when fan stops running. I've taken it to the dealer and was told it was condensation from the air. All a/c's remove water from the air. That's why water runs off the top of all campers. Thanks for any feedback.

Where is the water dripping? If outside, it may just be frost on the coil thawing. Maybe check your filters.

Welcome, I know where Goose Creek is. We are on James Island. Believe me in this heat everythings dripping the last few days!

It leaks on the bed but only after running all day. But it's still putting out cold air so it's not frozen.

Yeah I know James island. My camper is at Angel's landing. This is my first new camper. Third camper in all. We don't tow it. It's permanent sort of.

I would try changing the fan speed from what it is to something. Still could be related to the heat/humidity we are having if it just started.

Just throwing out ideas.

I do hvac for a living. If it's dripping inside the condensate drain isn't draining. Or the evaporator coil is starting to freeze up due to low refrigerant or dirty filter. Has it always done this?

2016 FBTS front a/c dripping

Never had ac dripping anywhere inside. We have camped in some hot and humid places and the ac only drips on the roof. Not inside. Pls keep us posted...

We met some folks last January that had the same problem as you. There was something inside the unit that was not put together correctly allowing water to drip inside but I can't remember what it was (sorry). They took off the inside ceiling shroud on the unit and were able to fix it from there. I know this is vague but hope it helps.

We have the same unit and had the same problem right after we purchased it last September. If I remember correctly they had to re-route some of the ductwork and it has taken care of the problem so far. I will check the service paperwork (which is in the camper) after we get it back from the dealership having the levels worked on (ONCE AGAIN)...The levels not working properly has been our "main" problem with our unit. I will re-post what they did if it is different from re-routing the ductwork

My unit dripped out of the factory inside. I am not savvy on AC but was told that I believe the condenser was mounted incorrectly and allowing water inside the AC unit to run down the vents.

Dealer switched it around and never a problem since.
