2016 pinnacle

Ok I'm looking for some input. We have a 2013 crew cab duramax 3/4. We are in love and have decided on the pinnacle line. Now my problem. According to jaycos website the 2016 weigh more than the same 2015 model. Terry town has a 2016 rsqs listed at 12100. Jayco has it at 12700. 2015 lists at 11800. I'm just doing as much homework as I can to make sure I'm not over doing it on my tv end. Any comment or reply is appreciated. What's everyone towing with a 3/4 ton. We have a family of 4 so I staying around the 38-40' range. Maybe I should really start looking at other manufacturers but we loved the pinnacle line. Thanks for any input!

We weighed our 36RSQS when we left Florida recently.
We are fulltimers so we have all personal property with us, stackable washer and dryer installed, empty black, gray and galley tanks and about a half tank of water.
The weights were:
Pin weight: 4,040 Lbs
Axel weight: 12,320 Lbs.
Total weight: 16,360 Lbs.

WOW that's one hell of a pin. We won't be full timers by any means. Weekend warriors for right now but really won't be near that weight. Out of curiosity what is your tow vehicle? I'm not 100 which models is best for us but the weight really has me looking elsewhere

The truck is a 2013 Chevy Silverado 3500HD LTZ, long bed, 6.6L Diesel Dually;
20k B&W Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch
The trailer is a 2015 Pinnacle 36RSQS that we've had a little over a year. We've been living in it full time a little less than a year.
We really love it. It's comfortable, and has everything we need. Our friends think it's nicer than our previous house, and nicer than their houses!
As far as traveling with it, we've only made one long trip to Florida and back. The combination works well and is very easy to drive. Including the mountain pulls on I75 we averaged about 11.5 MPG total for the entire trip.
The only problems we have had were a loose wire on the bedroom thermostat, a blower motor failure on the main A/C and condenser fan failure on the bedroom A/C - both of which were Coleman/Aiexcel/RVP problems.
We've also made a lot of mods - water softener, water pressure tank, PI EMS, basement TV, rear view wireless camera, stackable washer and dryer, sleep number mattress (we both have bad backs), additional insulation around the basement storage, oxygenics shower head, storage hooks in the basement, and many more. All to make it our "Home".
