2017 Pinnacle Kitchen slide change

I've seen the 2017 Pinnacles have a different type of slide mechanism for the big kitchen slide. The 2016's have the schwinteck with the grooves. Anyone know why the change. Is the new system better?

Thanks,
Mike

Our 2012 36KPTS has the Schwintek kitchen slide with the tracks.

Our bedroom slide also uses the Schwintek.

Are you saying this is a new slide system?

If Jayco did make a change it is a good thing. We have a 2016, with a Schwintek slide, and have had nothing but trouble with it.

Pic of what looks like

Here is what I've seen. The dealer said when he had a factory meeting this year they mentioned it to him. Winnebago went to a different type too. Power Gear in wall slide. Of course Lippert has ownership.

Can't tell from the picture, but it looks just like a Schwintek rail to me. Need a closer look.

It's similar in function, but does look different in person. I've noticed several swapping to these. Hope they have a better track record.

I'm hoping someone that has a 2017 can chime in with their experience.
