2017 Pinnacle Owners manual does not help with these questions

OK Question time again. Our mind is made up and it will be a Jayco 2017 Pinnacle 36kpts or the 36FBTS.
So we dig in on the research and take a closer look.
So this is where the Questions come in. I am looking for specific information on the following items. Any help from you owners will help!

Ready? Here we go!:

1. Living room and bedroom TVs? Brand? Smart TV? What size ?

2. Refrigerator brand? Ice maker and Water in door? model #?

3. Oven ? Microwave? convection? Brand and Model Numbers?

4. Stereo system. Brand and model number.

5. Theater seating . Massage? heat? Electric recline or manual recline. Difference between the recliners and theater seats?

6. What is the difference between the Standard heater and the heat pump system? What kind of standard heater does it come with?

7. Standard water heater size? Gas and electric? Or both?

8.Tankless water heater. Is it gas of electric? What do you prefer? Tankless or standard.

OK that is enough questions for now. I am sure more will come.

1 thru 4 will vary depending on what they have in stock when building your unit.
5-can't answer
6- a/c or a/c with heat pump depending on what you order. All have LP furnaces.
7-10 gal gas/electric, if you turn on gas and elec together makes it close to 15 gal equivalent.
8-tankless are propane. I prefer standard tank, use the campground elec instead of your propane.

So this is where the Questions come in. I am looking for specific information on the following items. Any help from you owners will help!

Ready? Here we go!:

1. Living room and bedroom TVs? Brand? Smart TV? What size ?

Listed per model, all Furrion TVS in 2017

2. Refrigerator brand? Ice maker and Water in door? model #?

Listed per model, residential fridges are name brand with ice makers.

3. Oven ? Microwave? convection? Brand and Model Numbers?

All Pinnacles have the same propane ovens and convection ovens.

4. Stereo system. Brand and model number.

Again moved to Furrion

5. Theater seating . Massage? heat? Electric recline or manual recline. Difference between the recliners and theater seats?

Listed on options, mostly manual recline, some with heat/massage. We personally like the theater seating but pros/cons to both. Most Pinnacles offer both options.

6. What is the difference between the Standard heater and the heat pump system? What kind of standard heater does it come with?

Standard heater you referring to is the propane furnace. We winter RV in the north and the furnace keeps up very nicely in SD. The heat pump is a valuable option that I recommend. This is built into your primary AC and runs through your ceiling duct work. These work great on cool evening 35-60°F but do not work below 35. Well worth the $300 option will pay for itself in propane savings.

7. Standard water heater size? Gas and electric? Or both?

All Pinnacle have the 10 gallon and include both electric and propane modes. Very nice for different scenarios.

8.Tankless water heater. Is it gas of electric? What do you prefer? Tankless or standard.

This is a new option that I do not know much about. Initially they were tough to regulate temp but have got better. Many forum posts discuss these.

OK that is enough questions for now. I am sure more will come.
Most of these are answered (but tough to find) on the website. Click configure, add your options then hover over the question mark next to Pinnacle and Luxury packages. A box will poulate the equipment included in these packages.

When you compare the Pinnacle line to other manufacturers you will see the perks outshine many. There are very few RV toys that are not included on a Pinnacle.

By all means, continue to ask questions! Good luck on your purchase, I think you will be very pleased!

Some of the answers for you:

thanks for the replies. This helps a lot. I see the bedroom TV is a 32 inch. Does anyone know the living room size?
As for the 'heat pump' Not sure I understand what that is. Does it work thru the AC system and heat the trailer or???

Thanks again!

Heat pumps are widely used in the mid-west and other areas. Since you can efficiently pull heat out of cold air down to about 35 they just reverse the freon flow in the air-conditioner. So yes you get heat out of the air conditioning ducts for the entire unit.

I think the living room TV'S are now 50" originally they were 60".

I just purchased a 2017 Pinnacle 36FBTS. I am unable to get water to the refrigerator. I found a valve behind a drawer next to the refrigerator. When I turned the valve nothing happened. Is there another valve somewhere?

I looked under the sink and I found a valve just above the floor. When I open this valve water goes out the low point drain valve. If the valve is below the floor how do I get to it?

That's to drain the line to the fridge ... close it.
And turn the one under the sink back on

Thank you that worked! Do you know where the hot water heater By-Pass valve is located?

It's sort of automatic when you flip the levers to winterize
But I think on its own it's the red one. I'm not sure if others have to be switched along with it.
Someone here posted it was the red one.
If you look at the diagram the only time it gets turned is for winterizing. but I would think another one would have to be turned along with it

Sounds like you didn't have a very good PDI by your dealer when you picked it up.

All will get better though.

Safe travels.
