2017 without Schwintek

Who has a new NorthPoint without the Schwintek on the big slide?
Is it working well?
Any thoughts about it?

I forget what it's called.

Yes on that slide.
The heavy slide.
The system looks so frail

Correct me if I am wrong but I do not believe the larger slides utilize the shwin system.

I have an Eagle HT with the skid you are talking about and it's not bad. Little shakey but doesn't let me down.

No.. the big kitchen slides are shwintek ... now they are something similar to Schwintek, but I forget the name.
But the bedroom slide is still Schwintek. So obviously Jayco knows Schwintek is a problem on big heavy slides. Which a few of use are finding out.
Reason number one I got the 7 year extended warranty.

Ya that's the one. The name is in the track.

Supposedly, it flexes more.... but it seems so frail.

My 2017 301RETS North Point has the kitchen less sink and a sofa on the slide. Pic shown It says SlimRacks on one of them. 2 Each side and look different than the bed slide. I have not seen problems yet?
They do look flimsy but this is a North Point Extra money for quality?

I hear Monaco is using it on their rigs.
I guess time will tell how good the system is. Hopefully they added more rollers for the slide to glide on.

Does seem to travel at the same speed as your Schwintek bedroom slide?

What are those connectors dangling at the bottom? Seems to be an odd spot for a connector. I hope it is sealed when the slide closes.

Oh.. that's right. Now I'm going to have to go look at mine!
I've never noticed them looking like they would take on water.

Yea my 17.5 has that same slide system on kitchen slide with the fridge in it. I just picked my unit up about 2 weeks ago and have already contacted the service center to ask if the slide should be moving so slow and they said it is a heavy slide. So guess will have to see how it holds up. Does anyone's slide have a gap on the inside? Meaning my kitchen slide, bunk room slide and bedroom slide I am able to put my fingers in the space along the side of the slide inside along the wall.

Can you put your fingers in on both sides like that? I thought I had an issue with my slides as well because I could slide my fingers in on 1 side but the other was flush against the wall. After looking closer Jayco put a trim piece on the ends that you can see but no trim piece on the ends that you can't really see.

Me Too!!!! I caught that on my pre Pdi walk through. My dealer ordered in some trim and installed on only one side and those same three slides. Lol

My neighbor has that type system on his Class A 39' Suncruiser and has a full length slide on one side. I thought to myself how flimsy is that. "So far so good he said, no problems". So they must be better than they look.
