26.5 ht rls ?

I was just poking around in our your new 5th wheel. I removed an access panel in the right side or door side storage area of the unit and discovered an electrical black box with many fuses inside. I don't remember or wasn't told what this unit is, Ideas.

Bill, I just went and checked my 2012 HT 26.5 RLS, both the door-side storage and the front storage on the door side and found nothing like you described. I did find two low point drains, as indicated on the outside of the access door and on the front storage I found the control panel for the bedroom wardrobe slide by Schwintec but nothing like you described. Maybe you could call Jayco and ask them what is there. Maybe a floor plan on the web site would help you. Or, talk to your dealer, they might know.

Maybe they moved the main fuse/breaker panel on your model for some reason. I met a couple that had the same model 5th wheel as our only a year newer and some of the controls were not in the same place as ours was for some reason and they didn't have a door over the main controls either. They were going to contact Jayco to see if they could have it changed. One thing they had on theirs that we didn't was shelves on both sides of the bed. They said it came that way from the factory so I am going to see if I can find a couple of shelves to install myself.

RE: Bedroom shelves. The 2013 models have bedroom shelves. I have a 2012 and installed a couple of them myself. Seems kind of crazy that they install an outlet near the bed but no shelves so you can plug something in.

we have a 2013 23.5 HT and no bedroom shelves
Jayco must have started putting them in late 2013 editions.
