27.5RLTS suspension question

i'm presently looking at a HT 27.5RLTS. Can someone that has this model or someone that knows tell me if the axle is under slung or over slung. In other words is the springs under the axle or on top of the axle. I'm curios is a person can get more height to hook up to a Ford 4X4 truck. They just seem t get higher and higher.

Thanks

All Eagle HT 5th wheels have underslung axles. Lots of threads on options to lift the HT's.

The springs are above the axles. See photo of my 2017 27.5 RLTS below.

Thanks for the picture.

A question for you, it appears that you have the auto leveling system. If you do, how do you like it? Does it add a lot of weight to the unit? Does it make the unit pretty stable?

I would like to have a leveling system as I'm coming from a Super C which has a Bigfoot leveling system and it works great.

Thanks again

Yes, I have the auto-leveling system and really like it. It adds about 400 lbs and does a very good job of stabilizing. I had to work at it to get my old 5th wheel (see sig) as stable as this unit does with a push of a button.

Yep, I have an HT too with self leveling, and agree 1 button and it's level - no issues yet. I have only owned it since March, but been out 5 times since.

Butch50- I have an 2015 F250 4x4 and was worried about the height issue. I had a Curt hitch installed and opted to have it set at the lowest level, but actually had to have it raised a tad. It was riding nose down a little.
