28.5RSTS Low Point Drain

Hi All

Winterizing my Eagle HT 28.5RSTS, see the low point Drain under the rig, but can't find the valves inside the Unit.

Thanks
Bob

Hi Bob,

mine are located directly above where they protrude through the floor. They are very small and located on the ninety degree bend of each pipe in the bundle. You should find a cover plate in that area that needs to be removed.

Not quite the same unit, but mine are in two places - left rear corner, underneath near rear jack. Other one is inside passenger side baggage compartment, left side wall - there's a small panel with two screws you have to remove to see them. BTW - it took me two years to figure out that the valves pull up to drain - not just a turn.

Some are twist on/off other have to be pulled up for off/down for on. They can be mixed on the same rig. Look above the down pipes, may have to remove a small panel.

You won't have to find them but once!

There also maybe a small cutout just big enough for your hand in a panel, behind a door, that was how mine where (HTT) I removed the false panel, much easier to reach now. I have always seen them directly above the exit point on the camper.
