2nd AC unit Standard

I was talking with a Jayco Dealer about ordering a 2018 Pinnacle. I want Dual AC units as in hot weather the single 15,000 BTU unit can not keep up. They informed me that for 2018 Dual AC units will be standard on Jayco's luxury line of RV's Has anyone else heard this?

They are now standard on the North Point for 2018.

Not sure but our 16 Eagle had the second ac. What was disappointing was 2nd unit was only for master bedroom only.If you don't shut the ac vent pointing and thermostat she cycles on and off.You can darn near hang meat in the master that's how cold you can get it!

Not sure about yours, but if you shut the vents directly on the bedroom unit in our 16 eagle 339flqs it will push air through the ducts in the rest of the camper. The front unit is their newer ducted return set unit, it's much quieter, but doesn't cool near as quick

Just heard today, confirmed two AC mandatory on all Pinnacles. We had to add a third unit to our 2015 FLSA but primarily because the Floorplan struggles with only two.

We have a SPQS coming in June and hope two keep up well since there is no option for a third on this model.

We just found out through the forum on our 16 Eagle if you close the vents on the 2nd ac. It forces air out the vents through out the camper. Will find out Memorial weekend.Happy Trails

Also there is a divider that separates the return air from the out going cool air. Check this to make sure it's in place. It's a good idea to get some foil tape to help reinforce it. I have had this come out of place on two different trailers.
