30.5bhlt. new guy here.

Hello all. New member here possibly trading in my puma 30fqss on the 2013 30.5bhlt. I love the floor plan of this 5'er. Just wondering if anyone has one and if they like it? Or any other input on your Jayco 5'ers. Thank you and looking forward to joining the community here.

Welcome to the forum! We love our 2012 30.5 BHLT. We've only camped three times in it last year and no problems what so ever. Looking forward to camping in it for the whole season. Only thing we wish it had was the inflatable hideabed. Hope this helped and good luck deciding!

Thanks Jaycolover. Just got back from the dealer and signed all the paperwork. Picking it up next Thursday, can't wait.

I have the same truck as you do, I see you have air bags. I am going to wait and see how she sits loaded before I get bags for mine.

So how do you like your 30.5 BHLT? We have had ours almost 2 years and we are still learning things about it.

We just got back for our first trip and fell in love even more with it. We are very happy with our purchase.

How do you like yours so far?

We have really enjoyed ours so far. We have had to take to dealership for warranty work (minor issues) a couple of times. We camped Memorial Day weekend and discovered a bizarre leak below the step that goes from the kitchen to the back bunk area. It's weird because we cannot imagine how or why water would be in that area.
We run out of warranty in late June, so it's going back to dealer again.

I'm late to the party on this one. I've got a 2011 BHLT, and today just de-winterized for our July trip. While we've had a few issues with ours, all were handled under warranty, and our dealer treated us well. Bought mine off the lot, and later added on the second A/C. Check the mods in my signature. Each year I do a little more, but this year has not been too good personally so there won't be many except for the installation of the SteadyFast stabilizers and a cute little portable Ice Maker which I'm dying to try out with some frozen drinks.

Hope you're enjoying you 5th.

Tip for the day. If the kids *play* in the camper, do a quick walk around to be sure that the windows are closed BEFORE the rain storms.

I fixed that with the addition of MaxxAir II's, too bad they don't make them for the side windows too..... still drying out the mattress.

We are LOVING ours a lot! Just got back from our seventh trip in ours(including last year)! Only problem we've had is our kitchen sink sprayer is leaking profusely. Our dealer has one on order that will be here next week. Otherwise smooth sailing!

Jumping in on an old thread.....this seems like a nice layout. I'm trying to narrow our choices down to a BH or a toy hauler (no toys, just like the room). I just ran across a used 2012 30.5bhlt for $26k and have a call in for a new one.

Any other comments on this unit would be great.

Have the little brother, 2014 Eagle HT 27.5 BHS (Oct. 2013). Had a kinked furnace hose, dealer (CW) responded same day, warm/cozy. First 5th wheel, the Eco Boost likes to show off. I bought the Bed Saver, left a tong jack down once ruined my day, it bent. We really like the BH, solid door, kids can watch their own TV.

I just bought the 27.5 too and it's great. The bedroom in the back for the kids. And if you want to bring a 4wheeler or something like that you can get the hitch and tow it behind on a small trailer

Towing mine with an 06 150 with a 5.4. Little slow off the line but it does have 3.55 gears and 36in tires
