31 FT Designer

I have a 2004 31 footer. What do you want to know? Begin by telling me your RV experience, beginner to expert ...... Is this your first RV and/or first 5th. What are you towing with - full timer, weekender or something in between.

Your question is so open, I could write a 500 page book. I think they would kick me off the forum before I finished! Seriously, be a little more specific.

I was just looking for someone who was familiar with the 30.5RLS in particular. Perhaps could provide insight to this specific model. This is my first 5th wheel but not my first RV. We traded in a 23ft Shamrock Expandable. We look forward to using our Jayco They have a great reputation for quality.

Yes, Jayco makes a very good unit and the Designer is their best. When you see other units, it is obvious that their quality is just better than some of the larger sellers. I have multiple friends with Jayco Eagles and they are also very pleased with the quality of those units.

You will love the tow of the fiver vs. the TT. The tow vehicle just rides better, handles the cross winds better with no sway when the 18 wheeler blows by.

In 2008 & 2009 we lived in our Designer a total of 44 weeks and it was under tow 18,000 miles from Florida to Maine to Oregon. I have had no issues with my unit! We do volunteer mission work (Alabama Campers on Mission) and live in the unit on job site 2 to 10 weeks at a time.

God Bless and enjoy your unit!

I just love the RLS no matter what size...... love all those windows so you can see outside! Although this past summer where I was camping for the 4th of July from my big back window all I could see was a plain view into the men's bathroom! LOLOLOL!!!
