321RSTS Bedroom Sideout

Packing up this weekend I had one side of the side out come in and the motor that runs the other side wouldn't work. I looked all over the camper but couldn't find the spot where I could manually crank the side out back in. Does anybody have any idea where the connection is to manual crank the bedroom side out back in?

If it's a Schwintec slide there are no manual cranks. Look on LCI site or here for procedures to disable and push it in by hand. There are threads all over JOF on how to resync this slide equipment.
Hopefully someone will chime in with some suggestions.

321RSTS Bedroom Sideout

With my slide you have to crawl under the rig opposite of the slide and look for a square patch in the under lining. Remove six screws to remove this patch so you can see the slide motor and gearbox. Then use a socket wrench to turn the shaft to retract the slide. It ain't easy and it's slow.
Lots of discussion on another thread about drilling a hole in the frame so you can get a crank handle in there from the side.
I guess the engineer who designed these was just so sure of his/her design that they didn't expect it to fail.

The 321RSTS Bedroom Sideout is a Shwintec. The slide that Buddy Ray is talking about is your Dinette slide.

The tech at my PDI said that on the outside towards the top on each side there is a chrome colored retention screw that must be taken out and then pull back the rubber seal and you should be able to lift the motor up and disengage the motor. Do this on both sides and you should be able to push the bed in by hand. Here is a link to the manual. http://www.lci1.com/assets/content/s...ting-Guide.pdf
I've never had to do this so I don't know how easy it is to do.
