351RSTS outdoor kitchen draining issues

New 351RSTS NorthPoint outdoor kitchen will not drain unless dump valve is open...anybody have similar issues with sinks on outdoor kitchens on a Jayco. Its our first Jayco...Our Keystone didn't have sink issues

It sounds like your vent pipe valve is stuck.

Yep. Sounds like the vent is plugged or the drain line is full. On mine I can only empty the sink a couple of times before the line fills up. I don't believe there is a tank, it's just whatever goes into the drain line.

Does anyone know if there is in fact a tank on the outdoor kitchen or not? I have the same problem, line fills up with a few gallons and that's it.

Mine has 3 grey tanks. It would make sense that one of them is for the outdoor kitchen sink. I have not had any issues with it draining. I know it has a special "waterless trap" on it and that may have something to do with the way it drains.

From what I have read the outdoor kitchen tank is only 5 gallons.

I did notice that the 2016 North Point that I own shows 93 gals of Grey Tanks on the Jayco page under specifications. The 2017 of the same model shows only 50 gals. Not sure if they changed something there or it's a typo. There is also a 40 gal difference in the Black Tank capacity as well.

I think it is crazy that we can't say for sure if our 351 RSTS have a tank for the outdoor kitchen.

Email Jayco with your VIN and I'm sure they can give you an answer.

How high is the outdoor sink in relation to your gray tanks? It might not be feasible to drain the outdoor sink into a tank as it is too low.....

Just throwing it out there as I have never had an outdoor kitchen but the sinks look pretty low in the ones I've seen.

I have never actually checked for a tank but I would guess there is one since you can check the tank levels for it. I read it only holds 5 gallons. That might be just what the pipe holds but I doubt it with sensors

According to Jayco, my outdoor sink drains into the black tank..No issues with it. It's odd that they didn't plumb it to the grey tank, but I prefer this actually. Anyway, it's not a 5er, so I'm sure that's of no help at all..
