5th wheels with four steps

We are trading in our 2011 rlqs 37 eagle for a 2016 pinnacle 36 fbts, the new fifth wheel has four steps and the bottom step is already close to the ground, we camp a few places where I have to lower the front of my 5th wheel way down to be level, I know the steps will be to long and you really can not fold the bottom one up or you would be steeping on the bottom of it, I am sure others have ran into this and I am wondering what you do in that situation.

As a reference for you, our unit is sitting on a pretty level spot and the 4th step is about 3" above the ground. Does that info help? Not sure how for down you have to drop the nose of yours on the spot you mentioned.

Elevate the trailer by driving up some ramps? Park facing the other direction?

yes that fourth step is already low, there are spots where I lower my front and my third step is pnly a few inches off the ground, I already figured if it gets to be a pain that I would remove the fourth step and just have three like I currently do.

The bottom step folds up tight to make it appear to be like the 3 step versions. Cut 2" x 2" to length and a piece of ply wood to fit over the step. Screw the wood pieces together, add outdoor carpet and enjoy your trip. I've bottomed out the fourth step twice already.
