When I worked in the trucking industry High Pinning was getting the pin up and over the 5th wheel, a pull test would work as the front of the 5th wheel is fairly flat, 5th wheel plate is level with the trailer but obviously not locked in.

So if other hitches out there can lock with the big part of the pin they that is a really a horrible design

Definitely B&W Companion for me. Mine has worked perfectly for almost 5 years with never a problem. When I don't want it in the bed -- completely gone with flat floor in minutes.

Another B&W fan. Ours is the non-sliding Companion and uses the factory under-bed mount. I think their slider will match up with "standard" rails.
