A/C leaking

Day 1 of our big 23 day summer vacation. I live in Vegas and keep the camper under a cover. Woke up to rain this morning in Vegas and the camper was nice and dry parked next to the house - cover was not on. Now we are here in Richfield, UT and rainstorms are coming thru the area. The air conditioning was on....and all of a suddden it starts to leak water thru the unit itself. Turned the a/c off and the leak continued.

Anyone else have this issue? The seal around the a/c unit? If so, I would think the the water would be dripping from around the edges of the unit and there would be moisture around the drywall/ceiling. It's not doing that - it's coming thru the plastic grids.

More rain in the forecast. Nice.

Thanks Bob. I did pull the panel and those four bolt/screws were indeed loose. It seems to have improved the situation a little, but were still getting a few drips during rain storms. I have contacted a mobile RV guy that is going to meet us in our Hill City, SD campground next week. We'll be there a few days so he should hopefully be able to diagnose and fix it.

Hopefully it's nothing more than a A/C seal that's not seated correctly.

Since you are still under warranty I would contact Jayco and advise them of your situation...., maybe there is a Jayco dealer along your trip route that can make the repair with minimal down time.
