Sounds like the front unit is having high head pressure problems. Is the condenser fan (the one on the outside, on the roof blowing)?

No when it isn't "willing" to run it just doesn't do anything. We hear nothing running, at least not until it decides to work like it should when it cools off in the evening. So weird...

Are your thermostats fighting each other? Just thinking out loud.

Who is "billing" you? A campground with typically OUTRAGEOUS rates? Or a utility company with just the usual PAINFUL rates?

The front one (living room) will not come on when it starts getting warm. Then it might suddenly come on run a few minutes and cut back off. It does blow cold when it feel like running. If we move thermostat to the on (not automatic) that will not make it come on. The heat pump seems to run all the time. I feel like we will have to put it back in shop but that is a huge inconvenience especially considering it is less than a year old. We have had several issues with this unit and it's frustrating. We live in it full time and have animals. So everyone is uprooted because Jayco makes defective products.
Close the door between the bedroom and the living room. What does it do then?

If you have three units all three are A/C units. One may have a heat pump feature but it's also an A/C. I have two in my northpoint and the rear one is the heat pump and the front is just a/c. My understanding is only 2 of your units will run at once, but you have a choice of which 2.

That would make sense, since each is at 15K. If two are running, that's right at 32 amps, or 16 amps each. Add another and you're right at 48 amps. That's a lot of power for AC.

I think you're going to have to wind up taking it in to the dealer. Since you full-time in it, they should be willing to take care of you while you wait.

JAYCO didn't make the air-conditioner, COLEMAN did.

Your CG could have power issues which could be affecting the unit. During the day there are more low voltage situations than at night.

Have you talked to JAYCO? They may have a mobile tech in your area that they work with that can come to your site.

If Grumpy is right about the campground voltage, a Hughes Autoformer may be in order.

To me that's immaterial. I don't make the trucks we use for delivery, but I don't blame Volvo, Freightliner etc when I have to tell my customers I can't delivery their product due to a breakdown.

Jayco decided to use whatever component is on the unit. I'm sure reliability was something they thought about. They bought it from Jayco and Jayco owns making it right.

That's said it seems to be more of electronic control issue than anything else.

A mobile Tech maybe worth the $100.00 service call to determine the issue then if it's truly a component failure they should cover that visit and the repair.
