ac only..
I have a 317RLOK, 2016 is it ok to run 110 only and have battery disconnect off for 6 days straight I don't see no reason why I can't but you never know PS having company stay in camper electric only !! Thanks

Is there a reason why you want to have the battery disconnect to off?
As dalebra stated, it's not a problem.
But I would have the battery disconnect to on when connected to shore power for charging / maintaining battery.
What are you connecting to - 15A / 20A / 30A / 50A shore power.
What you're connected to will determine what your company can use while staying in the trailer. For example, if they can use the Air Conditioner or not.

I guess it depends on if you want your company to see or not...
The battery provides power for the lights. If you don't have the battery connected, the converter is going to run all the time...and that could get annoying if it has a fan. Also, if they're using the refrigerator, it requires a constant 12 volt connection to run the electronics.

Wil not be using the refrigator, only lights and tv it's supposed to get a little chilly next week so maybe turning on the fire place.I'm also keeping the battery off so he doesn't turn on things he shouldn't turn on thanks for your response ....

The lights won't work if 12VDC is disconnected. TV will but not lights as they are 12VDC.

Having the battery connected or not will not change what can be turned on or off. If you are plugged in to shore power as you have said, it goes directly to the Power Center that has the 120Vac breakers and 12Vdc fuses. The power center powers the converter applying 12Vdc to the 12 volt bus (All of the 12v fuses). It makes no difference if you have a battery connected or not. Everything will work in your 317RLOK. Only the A/C would be questionable. Should have a 30A connection to run 1 A/C unit.

Don,
This is an Eagle 5er and it has a power center. It does not need a battery to run lights when plugged in to shore power.

I was thinking the 5er worked the same as my MH. If I set the battery disconnect switch to OFF, it secures 12VDC to almost everything except the levelers. If I took the battery out and was plugged into shore power, everything 12VDC would work providing I had my battery disconnect switch ON.

MH's are quite different than TT's and 5er's when it comes to the electrical system.

The one thing I do, to ensure damage does not occur is to turn the 120V volt circuit breaker off to the water heater. This way if someone flips the switch on, the light turns on, but it does not physically turn on.

The title of this post is "ac only" but it does not state that in the comment section. If your guests are going to run the ac while in the deiveway, you need to ensure you have enough amps and a heavy enough cord to run the ac. Each ac if I recall needs about 12 amps.

Since there's no reason not to leave it on, I would leave it on as it will keep the battery topped off.....but that's me.
