If a G614 is pressurized at 80psi, its load carrying capacity is the same as a E rated tire, 3042 lbs.
at 100psi, it's 3550
at 110psi, it's 3750.

I called Jayco the other day and spoke to their tech on tires. I expressed my concern over the ratings of the tires on our 2014 361REQS. The full load capacity of the RV is 14995. The Towmax tires are rated for 3520. The tech says they are rated that way as at least 20% of the weight is on the TV. I asked how the tires sidewalls and treads tell the difference if the trailer is rolling or stationary and not on the TV with max load. After a long hesitation he replied the axels are rated for 7K each. ??? He also stated Jayco has changed to Rainer tires because of the Towmax problems. I also asked about my rim capacity and it is 3800 at 90 PSI.
I think Jayco has done a disservice to a lot of us with larger RV's. I think most of us would have not blinked if the initial price of the RV was a few hundred dollars more to assure a larger safety margin.

That pretty much limits you to an E rated tire which nominally run at 80psi cold.
I have heard of F rated tires but have no knowledge of them.

The guy you talked with is correct. Whether the trailer is on your truck or on the front stabilizers, the tires and axles are only supporting 80 or so % of the weight. If that is not clear maybe someone who knows more about physics can chime in.

They are offering the G614s as an option on the PINNACLE as Norty mentioned.

Yes, the poster pm'd me about them before he listed them. I'm in Canada so I'm looking to see what I can get up here rather than have to cross-border ship the wheels. Thanks

Sailun tech sent me an email and says the S637's are derated to 3042lbs per tire if run @ 80psi.

I had Towmax "blowmax" tires on my 2015 36KTPS Pinnacle. After a blow out and three tread separations I went to trailertiresandwheels.com and upgraded my wheel and tires. 17.5 inches rims and matching sailun tires that run at 110psi wwith a 4800 pound load rating H for each tire. I would not go past 7 years to replace tires due to weathering cracks and unseen tire degregation. Consequences of tire failure is to great to cheap out. When I called trailertiresandwheels.com they gave me a much better deal than matching a tire and wheel on my own on their site. Tires and wheels came mouted and balanced they also threw in all new lug nuts so I could toss the two peice nuts provided by Jayco.
