Anyone else with a delay?

I ordered a 377 on April 10th and was told it would be built by the end of May. I found out yesterday (6 weeks later) my order was not built on this latest run and that the 377 won't be built again until sometime in August!

I called the Jayco factory looking for info on mine. There were sooo many 377 orders that they couldn't find mine without an order number.
Si I emailed the saleman, after a quick " I'll look into it " it was delivered the next day.
The Jayco rep I spoke to said they run a batch of one model, 13-15 units a day for a while, then Switch.
Good luck with your order. I have no clue why ours was built so quickly. I was expecting it in July.

Mine was already on order from the dealer and they modified the order to add the few items I wanted in addition. I will let you know when I hear back.

April 10th.
Rvone, Orlando.

Only options were 2nd awning, convection oven and black tank macerator. Keeping it simple, kind of...

That's interesting and a good point - keeping it pretty simple! Thanks again for the info!

Jayco built a new facility just for fifth wheels earlier this year. I was told the first run of 2018s was North Point in May (now closed), followed by Pinnacle in June in which our order is scheduled. Then they would cycle through the other lines (Eagle and Designer) before repeating again. It is possible with the NP sales volume, maybe they will throw another production run in earlier. They totally revamp the line for each model so the runs are suppose to last 2-3 weeks each to make it technically and financially equitable.

That facility was still under construction when I was there last week, the guide said it was to open in June, it looked like it was still a few weeks from completion

Mine is not a 377, but it did come off the line on May 15th and the rep told me it shipped on the 16th. Keep in mind their definition of shipped is to another yard to wait for a delivery driver. I was notified yesterday that's where my unit is sitting and could sit there for at least two weeks. Frustrated to say the least.

We ordered an eagle 325BQHS at the end of February and were told end of May first week of June we would see it. Well I called the factory last week and was told it won't be built until end of June beginning of July with a ship date towards the end of July maybe the first week of August. Only way to find out for sure is to call the factory.

Just spoke with my dealer who spoke with the factory rep and said the 377 was significantly delayed and I wont see our unit until July/August... so much for a good summer! Wife is going to be pissed off!

I would be upset too! I have a gut feeling ours won't come offline when it's suppose to (June 3rd) Won't be happy at all since we already had reservations for Colorado for the month of July. At least we still have our older unit if ours doesn't come in and can still go on vacation. Just would be nice when you order in April that you'd actually have your unit for summer camping June, July & August. It may be we have it for Auge, Sep, Oct. the way things are sounding with all the delays in production. Our unit is the 381 DLQS, don't see many have mentioned that as what they ordered.

Our Jayco Rep has been no help at all and hasn't been forthcoming/communicative so I canceled my order and got our deposit back. Completely unacceptable that Jayco isn't communicating in advance of delays or if your expected delivery date is MONTHS later than you were told. Not to mention all of the changes for 2018 and not informing anyone! I'm now working with a different dealer and a different manufacturer - the new rep has already been looking into options to get a unit built before the end of June for me. (we have a 4 week trip planned starting July 1st.) We ordered our 377 the beginning of April with the condition we would take delivery by end of June and they told us we'd have it by end of May. Our unit was to be built Mid-May. It's been nothing but a colossal goat rope - we did not find out it wouldn't be built until the time we were expecting to take delivery and then to be told "sometime" in August. Jayco doesn't care about my sale or me as a customer, but I'm certainly not giving those **s h***s my business.

I have a 3:00 at the new dealer tomorrow to figure out what we can get built based on my short list so I'll post back with the result and what units I was considering.

Totally understand, we looked them all before we decided on the 377, the big selling point for us was the jack bunk that isn't in most other midbunk units like the solitude. Cedar creek felt close but the higher price and the dated design turned us away.

I know of a dealer in the next state over that has a 2017.5 that I may be calling on as I do still like the design just really not happy with how the order process has been handled.

Every year we read these same stories about delays in manufacturing. Truth is, business is booming in the rv industry and they just can't keep up with demand.
They should be forthcoming with actual time estimates and delays.

For what its worth, our dealer in Southern Colorado ordered March 10 and just got the 2018 377 on Friday, 5/26. It's not spoken for yet, either.
