Anyone have the 30.5RLS?

What do you think of it? Any issues? Did you get a second a/c? What do you pull it with? do you think a short bed (6 ft 8 in) F250 4x4 6.7 diesel would pull it well?

Thanks for the input,

I have a 2012...some minor issues all which was covered under warranty. I pull it with a 2008 Silverado HD 6.0 gasser short bed using a auto slide hitch & it pulls very well. Having a diesel will be a plus for you. I get on average 11 mpg towing usually at 60 mph.

Anyone have the 30.5RLS?

I have one on order and plan on pulling it with the same truck (2011 F 250 4x4 CC 6.7 Diesel). Does anyone have experience with the Superglide Hitch? I am about to order one. I would appreciate any comments.

Only had minor issues with my 2013. I pull with a 2011 F250 longbed Supercab 6.2L gasser. Plenty of power. Best feature is the 6-speed transmission. Saves the brakes on both vehicles. I had a 5th wheel hitch and brake controller. But in hindsight I should have ordered the integrated brake controller. The specs are pretty impressive as to what it does.

I have a 2012 305RLS Eagle Super Lite. Delivered last spring with plenty of use over this past summer. Only a few minor items requiring attention which I looked after myself.

The one exception is a window that appears to have been installed even though it was damaged prior to installation. It is waiting to be replaced at the dealer, however, I wonder if the leaking window has cause other damage. It kind of puts me off that a Jayco employee would install a defective window.

We really enjoy the unit, the layout works well for us.

Living and camping in Canada we do not have a second air conditioner. I did order the double pane windows and the thermal package, but I must say I was somewhat disappointed with the performance of the air conditioning. Prior to this unit we had a 30 foot Pilgrim fiver and the air conditioning was superior in it.

I pull it with a 2007 Silverado 2500HD 6.0, 6 speed, it does fine for what I want. I have a 16K Husky Manual Slider , which I have used the sliding portion once or twice a a precaution. I am pleased with the hitch.

cheers

I have a 2011 30.5 RLS, the warranty is about to run out. No major factory issue, just minor stuff that was easily fixed myself.
There was no 2nd AC option when I purchased, but I think I would have gone that route if it were available to me.

I pull with a 3/4 ton Dodge Ram and a Pullrite sliding hitch. Tows like a dream.

Love this setup.

Yes, we do.

We bought a 2012 30.5 RLS about a year ago. Tow it with a 2011 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali Duramax coupled with a Reese Revolution hitch. We put a couple thousand miles on the rig last summer. Few minor issues with the trailer, none of which took much to fix. The trailer has one A/C. It took quite a while to cool down when we arrived at a camp ground after traveling all day, but hey, it was a hot summer! Once the trailer cools off, the A/C kept it very comfortable. The Duramax pulled the trailer with no strain at all. Power to spare, and very stable. I am less pleased with the Reese Revolution. Lots of clunking noises. If I had it to do over again, I'd probably look at a MorRyde pin box/hitch.

We have the 2010 model no major issues only minor cosmetic touch ups required. One AC unit only which seems to work fine for us. Only complaint is lack of sufficient heat in the seating area in cold weather, we have used a small ceramic space heater and will be adding an electric fireplace undert the TV, unused cabinet space, this spring. Tow with a 2007 F250, 6.0l PSD, no problem towing, the truck you are considering will be great. Enjoy it we certaily do!

Thanks, Barry & Lisa,

We are excited about picking up the unit in 3 wks. Are you having the fireplace put in by a dealer? I would really be interested in adding one as well.
