Question Anyone know how to tighten slide out awning toppers?

I have a 2008 Designer 34 RLQS that came with slide out awning toppers. I really like how they keep debris off the top of the slide outs and have not had flapping issues causing noise.

I just noticed that the topper above the longest slide has noticeable sag. Since this is considered an "adjustment" Jayco has declined to cover it under warranty. Does anyone know how to adjust the toppers? I want to tighten it up to keep it from making flapping noise.

To tighten the material, it sounds like one turns the roller a few more times (to give it more tension). This can be done using a special tool. For a few videos that might help, surf:

Note: See its 2:45 to 3:20 time stamp (to see how to add more turns to the roller).

Good luck...

Is there a way to add tension to the slideout hangers without using a special tool on a 2012 Jayco Pinnacle? Thanks.
