Atwood Furnace

I have a 2009 Jayco Designer 37RLQS 5th wheel and lately we have had some issues with the furnace. The furnace comes on heat come out and after about 15 seconds it shuts down. sometimes it comes back on or just shuts off. On the outside of the RV all I see is the outside vent. Does anyone know where I can access the furnace to check the card, motor and blower? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The furnace should be inside under a cabinet or the refrigerator. It should be within 6 inches of the exhuast vent leading outside. Look for a plastic or wood slotted cover near the floor, this is the air return and it should be behind it. There are several things to check, make sure spiders or mud dobbers have not clogged the exhaust vent, the air flow switch could be going bad or the high temperature limit switch is bad. These are the first things i would check. Also if you ran your propane tanks empty and refilled them it may take several attempts to purge the air out of the gas line.
Good luck
