Awning LED lights

Most of the LED awing lights just quit lighting on my trailer. The trailer is still under warranty, and when I get home from my winter travels I'll get them repaired. My question: Has anyone replaced these LED lights on their trailer? I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to repair them myself or take it to the dealer 75 miles away to have it done.
Thanks Bill

The awning lights are covered under the Dometic Manufactures Warranty. They can be a pain.. IMO, best to call your dealer, and have them call in to Dometic to get the replacement coming. Dealer will need all the numbers off the awning tube (can only be seen when the awning in fully extended)

I've had the same issue with mine. Replaced once and now I got the same issue again. I push the LED in with my hand and they light up and in a few min they turn off, weird. Get a list going for your TT, so your 75 mile drive works out.

If/when mine has issues, I was thinking I would try a multicolor LED strip so I could change the color. Looks simple enough to change yourself.

I got a little better look at how the lights are attached to the awning mounting bracket and it looks like they are just held in place with adhesive. We'll see what the dealer says.

It is all double sided sticky tape. If you dont clean the surface you are sticking it to, it can be a pain. Other than that, its a pretty straight forward replacement. The only way to get a free replacement though, is to have a dealer do the repair.
