Could be a poor connection. There most likely is no transformer and are most likely 12vdc .

Did it look like my right hand awning strip? One on left is fine. It comes on full bright then dims. I'm planning on putting a meter on the leads and checking voltage and then I have already purchased a multi color strip with remote to replace it with if voltage is ok. If voltage drops then clearly the dealer can track it down. My led in front cap that comes on with it is fine as well. Could be a bad resistor in the strip series. Any update on yours? I'll update when I tackle this.

yes exactly the same thing. Went to the dealer today with a photo and issued a claim to jayco. Thing is my dealer is pretty bad I would never let them my RV even for a day.

I'll buy a color strip like you said and keep the new one from jayco as a spare.

My front awning lights are brighter than the rear awning lights. My dealer has seen this and is replacing the lights. This is the third set for the rear and the second for the front. The other sets were replaced because the adhesive failed.

How do you install them? Do they just peel off and the new ones stick on? Did you purchase the controler to change the colors?

So my Seismic has the plastic channel already built in. So this strip will slide in where the other one was. It comes with everything you need. The controller is going to go one of two places, either inside the awning bracket (fits perfectly as seen in another post) or it's going in a small black sealed plastic "project box" and being heavy duty double sided taped to the side of the wall just forward of the awning. This I like better because the awning doesn't need to be open to change colors and use remote. Butt splice (use automotive heat sealing splices) and shrink wrap the power connection and done.

I have this on mine under the awning, they install easy, I didn't use the tape the came with, I used 3m dbl sided tape and so far no issues. These are great compared to a $200+ price tag camper dealers are charging for them, and they're the same thing

I'm installing the same set this weekend. Can't wait to get rid of the bright white "Stadium Lights"...
