What model camper do you have? I have a switch labeled exterior light #1 for an example.

Doesn't seem to be a switch anywhere for the light

If you turned it on with the remote, then you need to turn it off with the remote.
Even if you don't think you did, try turning it off with the remote anyways.

Same problem here. New JayFlight travel trailer. Remote control operates LED's, awning, and slide-outs. Then the remote simply quit working with the LEDs and those lights are stuck in the On position. When I get home I intend to disconnect the battery and see if that resets the feature.

If for some reason disconnecting the battery doesn't work. Find the control board.. The lights should be listed on it. There should be two wires under the screw, one goes to the switch and one goes to the light. Just take them off and connect them together and eliminate the remote.
Unless you walk around with your remote in your hand, there is really no need to control your awning lights with a remote.

Control board? (Walk over... Starts hitting random switches...) Hey! That's what that one unmarked switch does. What I'm seeing is that the remote works only when that unmarked control switch is off. Unlike the other remote control features, if the control board switch is on for the awning lights, the remote cannot turn them off. Yay! Thanks.

Yes, I'm new at this.

I guess that works too.

By the "control board" I meant the remote control module circuit board that is hidden behind something in your trailer. False wall, deep in a cabinet, behind your switch panel..ect

Oh well, glad you solved it!

Thanks for the info klassic.
We did not turn light on with remote, but think guy at dealership did when we picked up 2 Saturday's ago.
Last weekend was our first camping weekend with new fifth wheel.
It was nice to be able to turn it off!! Lol

I just noticed today mine has been on since Sunday. I must have hit it by accident on the remote.
It's hard to notice during the day. I guess at night the side of the rig has been lit up in my driveway. I don't ever see that side.

Good thing I had the dimmer turned way down or it would have disturbed the neighbour.

I'm unhooking it off the remote control board. I really don't need to turn the outside lights on and off with the remote. It's way quicker to just use the switch.
