Awning Lights

Hey Folks,

Need some help wrapping my head around the LED strip lights that are under the awning. How is this strip attached ? Is there a channel that they go in or is it a peel and stick, or are they attached to the awning material itself ?

Mine are mounted / taped into a plastic U Channel. I changed out the very bright white ones for a set of color changing / dimmable ones...

We bought our used 2015 Whitehawk this year and i keep reading about how bright the LED awning lights are, however ours are so dim as to be useless, we use the glow from the internal lights to light up the outside, so I was also wondering is our LED strip faulty and can it be replaced?

The lights should be bright enough to read by. I had a strip that 80% of the lamps were dim. Get it replaced as they can be dim and that is a faulty strip.

What lights do everyone use and is it better to mount in a track or just taped on with 3m foam tape?
