Awning wiring

I am replacing the arms on the awning of my 08 Jaco fith wheel because of wind damage and the question is does someone know a trick to removing the interior wall panel In order to make the wire splice. This is a carefree awning and the motor side arm comes pre wired and comes in through the exterior wall to the rocker switch in the kitchen.

Most Carefree automatic awning's have an RV exterior plug that is used to connect from the outside to the inside switch and power.
In some cases of compatibility there may be a need to splice new connections to the exterior plug, if present.
