Back Rear Stabilizers on 29.5BHDS

Anyone else have issues with the rear stabilizers on their 29.5 BHDS. IN the up position they are only about 5 inches off of the ground. On our first camping trip this weekend we couldn't get into a spot with a bit of a incline (while backing) and when leaving the spot that we did get into we drug them all of the way downhill. The trailer is auto leveling - which is a great feature, but we feel like we are going to have to sacrifice the back stabilizers for something that rides higher. We are curious as to what everyone else has done - we can't be the only ones with this problem.

Thanks.

The stabilizers on my 26.5 RLS HT are very high off the ground, almost to the bottom of the FW. Perhaps yours can be adjusted to they are higher off the ground, just a thought, not a criticism.

On our 29.5 BHDS, the rear stabilizers tuck up into the frame nicely. We do not have auto leveling though.

Any way to post a picture of the rear stabilizer? There may be a way to raise it to a higher position.

Maybe someone that has one will chime. You don't to damage that thing by dragging it.
