Battery Compartment

Has anyone put plastic battery boxes in the 2 compartments for the acid spill? Mine has not leaked but I know how batteries are. I don't even know if can get one that small that the door will close.

I've always made it a habit to have a battery box for any vehicle I've owned/restored etc.
If you can fit one in, surely worth the $$. Cheap insurance.

Same here, easier to handle the batteries while in the box......, especially being 6V Deep Cycle batteries in my case.

I have a plastic tray in my compartment that holds 2 batteries, and is deep enough (2") to catch most spills. Slides in and out and makes battery handling easy.
