Bedroom valances

When we picked up our 30.5 RLS from RvD last month, I noticed that the bedroom valances were the Brownstone interior decor rather than the Chestnut we ordered, and don't match the other valances in the rest of the unit. They finally shipped us new valances today and we received the very same ones we already have, which must be incorrect. Certainly the valances in your bedroom match the others in your 5'er? It's just hard to believe they made the same mistake twice. Can anyone verify before I call to complain? Somewhat minor issue I know in the grand scheme of things, but l still want the decor I ordered.. Thanks

Can't speak about 5'ers, but in my Eagle TT, the bedroom valances match the bedspread and the living/dining/kitchen valances match the dinette fabric. My guess is, you may have had the correct valances all along.

I'll look at mine today and tell you for sure, but I think the design is diffrent.

The living area design has some swirls/ circle looking things, and an accent down the side, and the bedroom is a solid color, but similar to the accent color from the living area

Thanks guys. I'm really curious about this, I was hoping the bedroom would have the same valance, and really don't like the ones I have. Just cosmetic I know, so not a huge deal. I appreciate the help, Jim don't make a special trip tho.

In my new fifth the bedroom valances match the bedspread, and all other valances are the chestnut color with the circle designs. Never noticed the bedroom was different until now.

Lovinglife.

In the living area the pattern has swirls and circles with a solid frame/ trim.

The bedroom is just the solid trim colors. So color coordinated, but not matching. Photo upside down for some reason

Okay, thanks so much for helping me to clarify that. You have helped me to confirm that I now have 2 sets of valances that are incorrect. I'm fine with the solid dark colors in the bedroom, in fact I like the way yours looks Jim. It makes perfect sense that it would match the bedspread. Ours in the living areas are the same design as yours with the circles and swirls. I will be calling them on Monday morning. I'll be hoping they can get it right this time. Thanks so much!

Yes, you didn't? It is listed as standard interior equipment. It should be dark brown on one side and the cream color on the other... just like your valances!

One thing we did notice is some of the shades don't come all the way down and therefore let a lot of light in when the sun comes up. I can't sleep with light shinning in my face as I think it is time to get up. So we have taken black fabric material and blacked out both windows in the bedroom in our 33.5RETS. Now the only light is coming from the skylight in the bathroom and that is the next project!

full black out shades are also an excellent way to prevent fading of the interior over time while in storage.

I used them on every window in my old TT for seven years, and the interior still looked brand new.

Oh, wow.... I was hopeful that the privacy shades would do a better job. Can't wait to spend more time in the unit to test that out.

The DW is quite handy with the sewing machine and picked some color coordinated fabric and made heavy black out panels. ( black on one side, patterned on the other)

I used the Grommet tool and put grommets in the two ends on the top.

2 clear thumb tacks at the top of the existing valance/window box to hang the panel from.

Simple and they work very well.
