Just guessing: ... could be a propane line. The fitting sounds like a "quick connect". Where does the line go if you follow it back?

It runs to other side away from propane. It has a female connection. Could it be for slides?

Thanks, just wanted to make sure it didn't have anything to do with water as it is getting cold here!
