Can anyone tell me where the backflow preventer foe the tank flush system is located on a 2008 eagle RSK?

Thanks, Merlin

I think itmay be behind the shower, but I will have to make my own access. I just need to know where to cut.

Good luck with that. I found some removable panels in my kitchen cabinet that allowed me access to the shower valves but I have never seen the backflow preventer. I am sure it's behind the utility cabinet and the black tank. Fortunately mine works well.

Thanks

I hope yours continues to work properly. Mine was raining down on to the heater and temporarily shorted out the controls. Why bury a part that is possibly going to fail???

Common failure those are. They put them up high. Guessing code requirement. My previous trailer I removed it and put an inline positive check valve right by the hose connection. I did that before mine could fail. It was in a wall between the bedroom and bathroom. I need to find the one in my 2017 Eagle 293RKDS and do the same.

black tank flush

Thanks Earl. I thought the valve might be inside the bathroom wall, although I can't imagine why. Now I will go after it and put a replacement in a more accessible place. By the way, Jayco has been no help with this problem!

OK so how do you replace/bypass it if it is buried?

Mine has shut off the flow now too after some rough road travels.

I found my backflow/vacuum breaker for the black tank flush yesterday. It's in the bedroom inside the closet. Down at the bottom with a wood cover over it. Remove the screws and cover and you will see it. It runs up with the tank vent stack. My guess is code requires it to be high like that.

Location is on my 2017 Eagle 293RKDS

On our 2017 model 23RLSW the tank flush valve is located to the left of the outside shower.

In the bathroom, not the bedroom. Wouldn't let me edit the original post.

Mine is behind the shower in our 2016 Pinnacle. There are 2 screws that hold a panel on in the towel cabinet. This is my weekend fix as it sprayed water all over inside our camper the last time I used the flush
