Cable tv interior outlet

I have a 2000 5th wheel. I see the antenna outlet next to 12v supply but can not find interior outlet for cable front or rear. Any help and advice on TV connections on Jayco units would be appreciated.

if the outlet looks like this (one on right)

that is for BOTH cable and antenna. When running on cable, press the black button until the light goes off. When on antenna, press the button til the light illuminates (red I think).

Not the way it stands UNLESS you have that A / B block (left in the picture). If you don't have that A / B plate, you will need to add it. You need to insure that the coax from the outside to the existing cable/antenna switch is a straight run (no splitter). It should be but never know. If it is, then you'll need to install a plate similar to that A / B. Very simple. Disconnect the Cable in line from the back of the cable antenna switch. Connect it to the back of your new A / B plate to port A. The back of port B gets a new short line to the cable / antenna switch. For Cable use, connect a jumper from port A to port B on your new plate. For Satellite, disconnect the jumper and connect port A to Sat IN on your receiver.

Hope I didn't confuse it?

I did the same thing and my satellite works great. I used this write up and it has great pic's.

Here's the link http://www.tv4rv.com/wiring.pdf

Just go to the bottom of the page and click on the " this article " link. It is very easy to do and well worth it.
