Camping World Poor Customer Service

I ordered a cover for one of my roof vents from Camping World. It didn't allow the vent to open fully. So I wanted to return it. Camping World Customer Service wouldn't let me return it. They told me I MIGHT be able to return it if I took it to a CW store. Nearest store is 50 miles away. I'll be purchasing from Amazon from now on. Lesson learned.

I installed a Camco cover. Vent runs into cover at about 80% of the way open.
All my vent covers have done that.

If your vent opened 75-80%, it's probably normal.

FYI

I was trying to put a cover over the fan that has the motor to open. The one in the kitchen area. I was concerned that I would burn out the motor if it is not able to open all the way.

I had to get a tall vent cover to allow for the vent to fully open. Had it installed by the dealer when I purchased the Motorhome.

CW has great prices, but extremely poor customer service.

I never found their prices to be great I found them to be higher than anyone else. I must say they have a very large selection of just about everything RV related.

If it's a Maxxair fan it will sense the obstruction and stop itself. I was worried because mine did the same thing after installing Maxxair covers on my Maxxair fans. They now only open about 80-90% as far as they did so I called and read on their site. The motors are made to sense the cover and stop opening.
