Cheap China made tires

Bought new 2015 pinnacle 31res on 07/13/2015 with a tires by the name of Rainer 3 tires developed huge bubbles on inside sidewall very upset with Jayco putting these low quality piece of crap tires on this really nice fifth wheel tire dealer recommended I go with LT235/8516e rated General tires made in USA!!!
No trouble since. All I hear out on the road is RV owners having trouble with these China tires hey RV industry the are Junk!!!!!

Boy, Jayco quality is sure getting some bad press lately. I have seen a tremendous increase in quality complaints here in the last year.

And you would think that for as long as Jayco has been making RV's that they would learn from their mistakes. If you do the same job on a day in day out basis and don't improve I think something is wrong.

The ST Rainer's on my 264BHW are holding up very good, got about 3.5k miles on these so far without any sign of issues, not best roads and cruising speeds up to 65mph. (just did a check inside wheel wells per initial rant).

Not to say we won't have problems but we traveled 5400 miles in June on Rainier tires on our new Whitehawk with no problems.

Contact Adam Deak at Tredit Tire, the producers of Rainier tires, and see what he has to say. adeak@tredittire.com or 574-293-0581 ext.163

...and let us know, too.

Rainer tires

Talked to Adam at treadit tire they are reimbursing me for 3 bad tires. I have had tire problems on other campers in the past It doesn't matter the tire brand they are all made in China and that's where the problem starts they are made as cheap as possible with no quality. I don't have trouble with my truck tires. This New Pinnacle weighs empty 12,900 lbs so it needs a heavy duty tire

Which GENERAL TIRE did you use, all of their LT 235/85 16E that I've seen are only rated at 3085 each. That doesn't safely leave you any room for cargo.

Have over 5000 miles on our Rainier tires. I'm not sticking up for them, that's just what they have. I will be changing them next year regardless, but so far I haven't seen any issues. I had a LOT of conversations with Adam / Tredit. They own the mold or something to those tires. Still relatively new. I have a thread somewhere on here with some of the email responses.

Well, your not kidding that's for sure, follow along and watch it. This weekend I had yet another surprise. Water dripping from the ceiling from condensation on the AC.

Hmmm. Water, on ceiling and the AC is above, wonder what's going on in the middle.

Maybe, the retaining bolts of the a/c unit are loose. Mine were all loose with one hanging freely. These are bolts that must be inspected and snugged up regularly.

The original install of mine must have straddled lunch or quitting time.

I will have to jump up there tonight and take a look @ the AC. The unit we have is one of those quiet version, so the only thing I see on the inside are the ducts. I am curious if the duct is so close to the ceiling and is missing some kind of insulation or protective foam like they do for AC units in residential. Then the sheer coldness of the duct causes the roof to condensate.

I had 4 new General tires put on my truck last Spring and had a severe bounce between 50 and 55 mph. Took them in to be re-balanced three times. They finally said that two of the tires could not be balanced due to defects, so I went with another tire brand. That was three months ago and I'm still waiting on General for the refund.
