We have the factory installed 2nd A/C which is the Mach 8 13.5K
The Mach 8 cools the bedroom nice and on very hot days we run both A/C units to help cool the trailer down.
If you have 50A service you'll be able to run both units, but if you only have 30A service, you'll only be able to run one A/C unit at a time.
Biggest complaint of the Mach 8 is that it was extremely load, sounded like a jet engine taking off.
I contacted Coleman-Mach about the noise and they sent me a Mach 8 Hush Kit.
Once I installed the Hush Kit, it reduced the noise significantly, but it is still load. The Hush Kit included a new fan. But for us, it's still too load to run at night when we're sleeping.
Our trailer is a 2015, built in 2014, so not sure if they've made any changes to them.
I see Jayco is now offering a low-profile 15K as the optional front A/C unit.
You can also look at the Dometic Penguin as another A/C unit to consider. I've heard good reviews on this A/C unit.
Hope this is of some help.
Good luck.
