Condensation on bathroom ceiling near air vent

2011 eagle SL 31.5 Rlts - we have noticed condensation on the bathroom ceiling at the air conditioner vent. We have tried opening and running fan, but that isn't helping. Any suggestions? Also, when we have satellite turned on in bedroom and living area all the channels do not pick up, but if we turn one receiver off all the channels will pick up in the other room.

In my old Jayco I use to get condensation from the windows and closet but I ordered the eagle 320rlds with the optional Thermal pane tinted safety glass on all windows we get no condensation at all. Your getting it from the air duct I would email jayco on that one see what they say. This is a link to customer service email. http://www.jayco.com/php/about/contact.form.php
Let us know what they say....

Hey Julie - first of all - welcome to the forums! Sounds like you are close to me up there is Mississippi.

As far as the condensation, is it dripping or just a little up there? If you are not using it all the time, I am not sure I would be too concerned. Anytime you have a cold spot near a warm spot, that can happen. If you are a weekender like me and you keep it vented in storage, I dont see where that would cause damage.

On the Sat system, you might want to do a dedicated post in the tech area, but my initial question is -are you splitting a single feed from the satellite dish? Each receiver generally needs a dedicated feed from the dish unless you are using some of the newer high end equipment. Not to get too technical, but depending on the channel the dish sends a different voltage to the dish - so that is exactly the behavior you would expect if you try to watch two receivers on the same line. Post some more details in the tech area and there are folks that will jump right in...

Thanks Terry - we are using 2 receivers so that is probably the problem. We only go camping about 8 times a year, but have never had the condensation in other campers so it concerned me a little. I just didn't want the ceiling to get messed up. Yep we are from Mississippi!!! I did email Jayco about both issues.

In regards to the condensation in the bathroom, there's not
much you can do but wipe it up after your shower. When we take a shower
we inject a warmer air temperature into a the room. When the warm air
mixes with the cooler air the condensation is a natural occurrence. It
happens in my bathroom at home that was built in 2008. Not that there is
room for one but I don't think if you put a dehumidifier in the bathroom
it would help.
***Thanks again for taking the time to contact us and happy camping!!
