You use it to run a diluted bleach solution through your water lines after long periods of storage. Usually put 5 gallons of water to about 10 Tbs of bleach in a clean 5 gallon or so bucket then put the hose connection provided with your unit in it. Then run your faucets until the bucket is dry, let it sit for about an hour then flush. There's different ways to go about it but this is the easy way. There are more involved ways to do it but this is the easiest with our setups.

I just did mine yesterday. Set switches to "country fill", Put the proper bleach and water mix into a large pitcher and attach a short hose to the water inlet.

Turn on the pump and it will pull the water into the fresh tank. Then set the switches to "normal" and run the faucets until you smell the chlorine mix in the faucets.

Let it sit a while and drain the tank and add fresh water. Then flush the faucets again to clean out the chlorinate water.

You really want to do that with the bleach water if you use RV antifreeze to winterize your unit. The bleach solution removes any chemical taste .

That makes perfect sence. We typically stay in ours just about every week and I usually drain my lines each time before leaving so I should only need to sanitize next spring.

Thanks again,
Jr
