Eagle 317 RLOK table light sensor

Just purchased a 2017 Eagle 317 RLOK. The dealer I bought from doesn't sell the Eagle, they sell the Eagle ht, North Point and all other Jayco brands. They brought this trailer to their dealership from a sister dealership 40 miles away. During the walk thru the light over the dinette would turn on and fade and brighten with no input from us (ghosts?). The tech doing the walk thru wasn't sure how to turn it completely off but did get it to go out by holding a finger over the sensor. I have had it home for one week and it has come on 3 more times while no one was near the trailer.
Does anyone, and I am sure there is someone, know how to turn this off completely? I have disconnected the battery until I can find a solution.
It makes me feel somewhat dumb and very old, but it is perplexing.
