We are in Nebraska but we travel to Colorado and Utah. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

If you go by the numbers, the 2500 is over the max payload. The dry hitch weight of a 2017 355MBQS is 2515lbs, and the payload on most Chevy 2500's is roughly 2200lbs-2400lbs, depending on configuration. So you're basically maxed out before you even put anything or anyone in your camper or tow vehicle. If you want my advice, and you haven't purchased a 355 yet, I would wait until you have the proper tow vehicle.....however, I tow a 355 with a 16' Silverado 2500 LTZ CC 4x4 D-max w/airbags, and it tows like a dream. I guess basically what I'm saying is, if you want to go by the book, then a 3500 is what you need. However, a 2500 D-max will pull that beautiful Eagle just fine. I wouldn't pull it without airbags if you go the 2500 route though...I hope that helps.
