Eagle owners - where did you install your EMS?

I have a 2016 321RSTS and would like to install the Progressive EMS this year. Since a lot of the Eagle's have power in the middle of the side that runs behind the lower storage, where did you install yours? I pulled my converter out and wondering if that might be a good place or did you do more towards where it comes into the camper? Any pics would be good too!

Mine is near the converter - was easiest to remove the panel in the basement to gain access. I placed the remote readout near the utility bay which is always open when setting up.

I have a 2017 293 RKDS on order and will install one too. I plan to install it at the converter. Mine unit will also have gen prep with a transfer switch. This unit has the shore power inlet on the rear of the trailer. The converter is under the range near the rear of the trailer with plenty off room behind and around it to mount one.

Mine originally was installed behind the converter. However, there is such a mess of wiring in there, it constantly pushes on the converter and wanted to push it out. Moved it to the opposite wall which is behind the basement wall in the basement storage. Mounted it behind that wall. Does not have a remote readout so that could be a problem. I guess when it goes out, will replace it with one that does have a remote readout. The old unit saved our bacon in a close lightning strike and had to be replaced. That's when it was re-positioned.

We have a 355MBQS. Converter is in the bottom of the bench seat.
I have the EMS on order and plan to but in behind the converter. Should be able to fish the remote display wire to mount near all the other control panels above.

I installed the EMS in our 351 RLTS under the stairs. I removed the converter and the rear wall of the basement (door side) for access. I don't have any pics but it's basically under the second step. In our 5th there was plenty of room.

I installed mine at the power source coming in, before it even reaches the converter, behind a panel in the rear storage.

I installed mine just behind the panel and actually attached it to the panel before I put it back on.

There's several posts in this that show some locations and installation methods. I installed the read out up by the control panel with all of the other switches and controls etc.

How did you access behind there?

I was looking at that this weekend and the only way to get there is to remove the fuse/breaker panel.

I removed the stove and was able to "clean up" the rats nest of wiring and had lots of room to wire the EMS. Also, sealed up the large hole on the floor while at it. there wasn't enough room the really work on everything by just pulling out the converter.

I don't know if they made any changes from 2015 to the 2017 units. Is the range over the panel? You could remove the range. It doesn't need to right at the panel. You can install it anywhere between the inlet and the panel.

Not at all. Disconnect the gas line and 4 screws IIRC. Not very heavy, but two people would make it simple to set out.

I will have a look at it this weekend. I guess you have to pull the stove out a bit to disconnect the gas line

Yes my range is over the panel. I think the wire inlet comes up from the floor, so you would have to remove the range and wire the EMS under there.

Actually, I just went out to look, great memory, just doesn't last long!! Take the grate off the stove and remove the top, you push it back and lift the front, should come right off. There are 4 screws, two in each side. Remove them and the stove will then slide forward. The gas line is a hose and now I think it may have been long enough that I left it attached. Either way, you can get at it with the stove top removed. That's all there is to it. Just make sure you have something to set it on and watch for sharp metal when handling. Be careful not to chip the cabinet when you slide it forward. Good luck.
