I installed my EMS yesterday. I wanted to put it close to the shoreline entry but there wasn't room for the EMS due to kitchen drawers. I put it behind the converter. Unfortunately the transfer switch is burried in the basement corner by all the plumbing, furnace, water heater and balls of wires. I would of had to lay inside the basement to install it.
Anyways, due to having it by the converter I'm protected on shore and generator. But my transfer switch isn't protected as it's before the EMS. Not sure why they put the transfer switch in the basement. I would of put it behind the converter.

I pulled my converter out and wondering if that might be a good place or did you do more towards where it comes into the camper? Any pics would be good too!
Uhhh whats a Progressive EMS, so I don't have to Google it?Thanks

It's a surge and voltage protector.
