It looks to me like on the 2014 modles the roof has a metal piece on the sides of the roof and none of the orther models do not. Does anyone know anything about this .And did they have any trouble with this setup.

On our 2013 Pinnacle the side walls have a cap piece that curves up to the roof. See picture. Where our old 2008 Designer the roof membrane curved over the edge and met the side wall. No problems with either unit

My 2011 has metal that comes up from the gutter on each side under the EPDM material and curves around the roof. No problems with it. I can see where it stops once on the flat part of the roof.
