Extra Wire?

I was looking at the inverter in my North Point today and am not understanding something. According to the dealer, the purpose of the inverter is to provide AC power to the residential refrigerator when running on batteries, which it does. However, it appears there is a second wire running out of the inverter. I have tried every outlet I can find in the trailer and none have power while on the batteries. Just not sure why it's there or where it goes. Anyone else noticed this?

That additional wire should run to the controller. That's where you turn it on and it tells you the voltage of your batteries.

I think the controller wire is the grey one. I'm talking about the two wires which appear to be 14/2 AC wiring.

One is the supply from shore power. The inverter has a built in transfer switch, so the fridge is supplied from your shore power connection when plugged in.
