Factory Bike Rack

Has anyone ordered a bike rack on the back? If so how did they mount it to the frame. Mine has some half mount on the frame but the rear stab. jacks are mounted to a couple of them. I would like to build my own. Thanks for your input.

Wanted it but it wasn't an option for our TT since we have a rear tank. But when looking at it closely to understand why I couldn't get it, I noticed it was built on a track mounted to the inside channels of the frames the steel I-Beams. Then it glided back and forth on that track. It looked sort of like this I-I .

I imagine the TT and 5er version would be very similar.

The bike rack/ luggage carrier came our 5er. There is square tubing mounted on the inside of the frame and smaller square tubing that slides into that. The rack slides out about 2 feet. Its mounted above the jacks.

We are having one put on while our 19h is in storage at the dealer... will post pictures of it when we get it out in April.

Are you having the dealer install the Jayco Factory Option bike/cargo rack?

If so, I'd be interested in how that works. We looked into having it added after the fact to our JayFlight 26BH but it wasn't an option for us (or new fom the factory) because the waste tanks are in the back of our TT and they extend in the space between the frame where the factory rack is mounted. I thought the 19H also had rear tanks, if so I am interested how yours is being installed and what it cost if you don't mind.

Ultimately we have decided to have a "frame to frame" hitch receiver installed where we can use hitch mounted bike racks and cargo racks.

MNWild I would like that if you could post pictures. It can't be that hard. I ordered my and then seen that the rack was an option. Just like my kitchen power vent fan was standard. Wrong. Looking for one of them to install. Thanks.
