You have many options with your truck. If has the puck system in the bed you have many hitch options also.
Have you given any thought to how large a fifth wheel you want?

I have a Pullrite Superglide 18K in my 2007 F250 quad cab/short box truck (SRW).
The hitch is built extremely well. In addition to the automatic turning feature, I really like the Pullrite bed mounting system, it is very easy to remove the hitch and mounting rails and have a smooth bed floor, for when I want to use the truck for other purposes.

We have a B&W Companion Slider hitch and really love it. Yes, it is heavier than other hitches, but man is it strong. When you consider a hitch, don't forget about how well it helps your fifth wheel handles in crosswinds. Also, with B&W, there is no need to do a test pull of tugging to see if the jaw is fully locked. We do like that feature.
Just food for thought, that although we have an auto slider hitch, we yet to have a need to use it. Our Eagle HT gives us pretty good turning radius without using the slide and good spacing between the nose cap and our truck's cab.
Good luck on whichever hitch you choose.

Things to consider are: Do you need a slider hitch or not, i.e. do you have a short bed or long bed pickup. If you have a long bed, you will save a bunch of money. My only recommendation is that you get a hitch which tilts side to side as well as front to back. Of course it has to have the capacity to handle the weight of your trailer. My brother in law has a short bed, and bought a hitch which slides automatically as you turn. Handy I guess, but you have to modify the king pin on the trailer so no one else can hook on unless they have the same hitch. Cost him about $1,400.00 as I recall. As was stated above, most times the slider is unnecessary if you're careful.

33 Foot would be good the bunkhouse we have now is about 33,
the truck we have is a Short bed, not a 4 wheel drive, its the cummings and asin Trans (not sure on the spelling ) one of my concerns is that the truck sets very high how will that effect the towing (5 wheel ) its a stock truck .

I have the puck system and B&W has a specific Ram hitch that goes into the puck system. Last I saw it was about $1,300. I had a hitch so just put the picture frame adapter in mine.
Another lightweight option is the Anderson aluminum hitch.

Now I know what the , B&W Companion hitch is ,my truck is a 2014 it did not come with the Prep Package ( Four caps in bed covering the mounting holes) I do like that style of hitch. and mounted under the bed, center over the axle is a large plate looks like a hitch would go there ..

Like Rwhite692 we also have the PullRite SuperGlide in a GMC 3500HD short bed SRW. Love the hitch and the feature to remove it and make a clean flat bed is great. Though it takes 2 people to lift the hitch from the bed. It weighs ~200 - 250#.
PullRite has a new hitch the ' ISR Series SuperLite'
I would suggest looking at that one also. The current issue of Trailer Life just did a review of this hitch installing it in a short bed truck.
The advantage with this new hitch is it would be lighter and easier to remove.
However, with a short bed I'm not sure if it would give you the same clearance on tight turns that the slider does. That would be something to look into if you were thinking about this new hitch.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Get a gooseneck and go with either Anderson or the B&W. Lightest ones out there and least amount of bed space compromised.
If I did not have the hitch already I would have gone that route. Instead I spent the $175.00 for the adapter.
Also I suggest a bed mounted umbilical attachment.

And void your warranty. Not a very wise option on a new trailer.
I'm likely getting the Pullrite SuperLite next spring. My slider hitch was a waste of money, not to mention the weight. After three seasons, I've yet to use the slide. A 6 1/2' bed doesn't mean you automatically need a slider hitch. Don't believe everything you hear about that. It depends on the 5th wheel front cap design.

Not a Gooseneck adapter, a gooseneck bed mounted 5'th wheel hitch. The Anderson and B&W are not warranty voiding hitches.
You use the gooseneck bed mount to install either of the 2 hitches.

If you google that part number it goes into further descriptions on other sites as being the rails only. Out the door your going to be in the 2k range. That head alone is about $1500.00.

No personal experience with 5th wheel hitches. But if I was to get one, I would seriously consider the Anderson's Ultimate Hitch. It weights 35 pounds. I use the bed of my truck to much to leave the hitch in there all the time, and the big steel hitches weigh to much to be moving all the time.

I have a Dodge Ram short bed 4wd. I use the andersen ultimate 5th wheel connection. I can get 90 degrees. Hitch weights 40lbs and takes about a minute to remove. My camper is a bit nose high. I thought about lowering the hitch, but I don't want to get too close on clearance on the back of the pin box (possibly hitting the bed rails).
I've never used a traditional 5th wheel hitch. The dealer I purchased from hauls 5ers using several different hitches. He says he can't tell any significant difference between a cheap hitch or expensive hitch. The best modification he's noticed is the MorRyde pin box.
Good luck!
